Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-02 · Last updated 2026-09-30

This policy explains what Sound Matrix collects when you use FilmyAI, why we collect it, and how to ask a question or make a privacy request.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Sound Matrix handles personal information when you use FilmyAI. It applies to the public site, viewer accounts, creator applications submitted through the site, and related support mail. It does not change the privacy terms of payment providers, email providers, or other independent services you choose to use.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use FilmyAI, we may collect:

  • account details, such as your name, email address, and sign-in identifiers;
  • creator-application details you choose to send, such as a portfolio link and bio;
  • viewing and catalog activity associated with your account, such as titles you open;
  • purchase records, such as what was bought, the amount, and a payment reference;
  • technical data, such as browser type, approximate region, and diagnostic logs;
  • messages you send to legal@sound-matrix.com or other Sound Matrix addresses.

We do not ask for card numbers or bank passwords in FilmyAI forms. Payment credentials are collected by the payment provider that presents the checkout.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to run accounts, decide which access rules apply to a title, review creator applications, secure the Service, measure whether pages and playback are working, respond to legal requests, and send service messages you need in order to use FilmyAI. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your viewing history to train a public generative model.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed:

  • with infrastructure and authentication providers that host FilmyAI;
  • with payment partners, to take payment and confirm a purchase;
  • with professional advisers, if a dispute or audit requires it;
  • with authorities, when the law requires a disclosure;
  • with a buyer of the business, if Sound Matrix transfers FilmyAI, under this policy.

Staff access is limited to people who need it to operate or support the Service.

5. Cookies and similar tools

FilmyAI uses cookies and local storage that are required to keep you signed in, remember a session, and protect forms. We may also use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand aggregated traffic. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out or prevent playback.

6. Retention and security

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is open and for a limited period afterwards where tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention rules require it. Creator applications that are not approved are kept only as long as needed to record the decision and handle a follow-up. We use access controls and encrypted transport. No method of storage is perfectly secure; please use a unique password.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold, or to object to certain uses. Email legal@sound-matrix.com with the address on your account. We may need to confirm it is you before we act. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority that covers you. Closing an account does not erase records we must keep by law.

8. Children

FilmyAI is meant for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to legal@sound-matrix.com and we will delete the account when we confirm it.
