FilmyAI by Sound Matrix

Terms of Use

Effective 2026-10-02 · Last updated 2026-09-30

These terms describe how you may use FilmyAI, the curated cinema service operated by Sound Matrix. They cover accounts, viewing rules, payments, and the limits of our responsibility.

1. Who we are

FilmyAI is a curated over-the-top streaming service for films made with artificial intelligence. The service is operated by Sound Matrix (“Sound Matrix”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Use govern access to the FilmyAI website, apps, and catalog (the “Service”).

By creating an account, browsing the catalog, or watching a film, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

FilmyAI offers a curated catalog. We choose what premieres, how long a title remains available, and the access rule for each film: free to watch, included for members, or offered as a one-time title. Catalog composition can change without notice.

Films on FilmyAI may be created wholly or partly with AI tools, and may also include human writing, performance, design, or editing. A listing does not promise a particular production method beyond what the title page states.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@sound-matrix.com if you believe your account is being misused.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is not directed at children.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, download, restream, or publicly perform a film except as the player allows;
  • probe, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • share account access in a way that avoids a membership or a one-time purchase;
  • use the Service to infringe someone else’s rights or to break applicable law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

5. Intellectual property

The FilmyAI name, the FILMY AI wordmark, the catalog presentation, and the films we stream are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable licence to stream titles for private viewing. They do not transfer ownership of any film, artwork, or brand. Filmmakers who submit work are covered separately by the Creator Terms.

6. Memberships and purchases

Where a title or a membership requires payment, the price shown at checkout is the price you agree to pay. Access is granted after payment is confirmed. Taxes may be added where required. Refunds, where any are due, follow the consumer rules that apply to your purchase and any refund policy we publish at the time of sale. Payment processing is handled by our payment partners; we do not ask you to send card details by email.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Premieres, playback quality, and uptime can be affected by maintenance, third-party networks, and the devices you use. To the extent the law allows, Sound Matrix excludes implied warranties that are not required for a consumer service of this kind.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, Sound Matrix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes, suspension, and law

We may update these terms as the Service develops. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you keep using FilmyAI after an update, the new terms apply. We may suspend the Service for security, legal, or operational reasons.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer forum available where you live.
